myleasehold is an award-winning firm of Chartered Valuation Surveyors specialising exclusively in the valuation and negotiation of residential lease extensions and collective enfranchisement (freehold purchases), acting for both Leaseholders and Freeholders.

With over 40 years of experience as estate agents in the West End and Prime Central London, we are intimately familiar with the intricacies and subtleties of many of the streets and buildings within the area, and understand the character and ethos of each locale or micro-area.

Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson is the founder of MyLeasehold, a leading provider of leasehold property advice and services. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Mark has established himself as a trusted consultant to landlords and tenants alike.

At MyLeasehold, Mark has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions to the challenges facing leasehold property owners, including onerous ground rent review clauses, unfair service charges, and the complexities of lease extensions and enfranchisement. His expertise and knowledge have been recognized by industry bodies and professional organizations, and he is a frequent speaker and commentator on leasehold property issues.

Mark’s commitment to improving the leasehold sector is evident in his advocacy work, both through MyLeasehold and through his involvement in industry groups such as the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP). He has been a vocal advocate for leasehold reform and has worked to raise awareness of the issues facing leasehold property owners.

Ivan Taylor

BSc FRICS, Consultant Chartered Surveyor

Ivan is a Chartered Surveyor and a Consultant to myleasehold with over 30 years’ relevant property experience. He was formerly a partner in a firm of Chartered Surveyors who specialised in Valuation and Management. Ivan makes written and oral submissions before the First-tier Tribunal and Courts of Law.

Ivan was formerly a member of the Residential Faculty Board of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and was also appointed a committee member that produced the Residential Service Charge Code (2nd Edition).

Ivan was a Valuer Chairman of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) – (appointed 2004)

Liz Murray

Administration Manager

Liz joined the team in 2022 bringing with her over 20 years of experience working in media and property.

She has worked with both large corporate companies, smaller businesses, and private clients. Her knowledge and proficiency are invaluable when it comes to dealing directly with our clients and ensuring that our strict deadlines and client expectations are met.

Having discussed your property with you, we will quote for the valuation and the negotiation stage, our proposals are personal and tailored to the precise needs of our clients on a case-by-case basis– we do not believe in a “one size fits all” model.
